Who it is not for
Households, consumer solar apps, or generic building-management (BMS/HVAC) replacements. We focus on power assets, DNO limits, and commercial dispatch — not lighting and heating controls.
Where we operate
United Kingdom. Software is developed in the UK. Grid and DNO work follows GB distribution-network practice (G99/G100, export limitation, connection offers).
What you get
One EMS for BESS, solar, CHP, generators, and grid import/export: live control, tariff and export-limit dispatch, alarms, fleet reporting, and optional flexibility/trading alignment. Retrofit onto existing BESS without ripping out the plant.
How it is sold
Three stacked packages—Monitoring, Control, and AI (predict, optimise, control)—quoted per estate. Site count, asset mix, OEM integrations, and DNO/connection scope set the commercial licence. There is no public catalogue price because delivery is scoped, not a one-click SaaS checkout.
What is free today
The interactive site simulator is free with a sign-up. It is a demonstration of dispatch behaviour, not a live control system and not a substitute for a commissioned EMS.
Availability
The product is available now for demo, proposal, and deployment. New battery/inverter manufacturers can be added; control integration for a new OEM is free of charge.

- Three stacked packages that match the site simulator: Monitoring (live visibility, alarms, reports), Control (dispatch rules, playbooks, site editor), and AI — predict, optimise, control. ML predicts; optimisation decides; ArcGrid sends bounded setpoints into Control. AI does not fly the plant.
- Does AI control the site?
- No. ML predicts. Optimisation decides. ArcGrid controls via bounded setpoints into the existing Control layer and OEM controllers. Safety-critical plant control stays where it is. The schedule re-solves every 5–15 minutes across the next 24–48 hours.
- Do you retrofit existing BESS?
- Yes. Existing-BESS retrofit is a core offer for manufacturing, logistics, and industrial estates that already have batteries. Keep the hardware; we add Monitoring, Control, or AI on top. AI sends bounded setpoints into the existing control layer rather than replacing OEM plant controllers.
- How much does ArcGrid EMS cost?
