- What are the ArcGrid EMS packages?
- Three packages, matching the simulator: Monitoring (live view, alarms, reports), Control (dispatch rules, playbooks, site editor), and AI (forecasts, rolling schedule, setpoints into Control, and a P&L). Control includes Monitoring. AI includes Control. A model does not run the plant.
- Does AI control the site?
- No. ML predicts load, solar, prices, and asset behaviour. An optimisation engine decides the schedule. ArcGrid then sends bounded setpoints into the existing Control layer and OEM controllers. Safety-critical plant control stays where it is. The plan re-solves every 5–15 minutes across the next 24–48 hours as actuals change.
- Can I try the packages before buying?
- Yes. The free site simulator uses the same three modes. Switch Monitoring, Control and AI in the header after sign-in. It shows dispatch behaviour. It is not a live control system.
- How are the packages priced?

- Yes. Dispatch follows 30-minute GB tariff windows for charge and discharge, plus wider time-of-use schedules, solar export, zero-export limits and grid connection rules.
- Do you provide solar and wind generation forecasts?
- Yes. ML forecasts of solar, wind, and site load feed the optimiser—so dispatch, trading, and planning look forward, not only at yesterday’s meters.
- Can you calculate on-site losses and auxiliary consumption?
- Yes. We account for power used by the system on site—conversion losses, auxiliaries, and plant consumption—so performance reporting and supplier conversations reflect net outcomes.
- Do you work with BESS suppliers and solar developers on grid applications?

- What does “free integration” for a new manufacturer mean?
- When we have not previously connected to your OEM or controller, we develop and deliver that control interface at no additional integration fee—you pay for EMS and delivery as scoped, not a surprise charge because your hardware is uncommon.
